What an amazing journey this been. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY until the age of 13 my mum and I moved to Puerto Rico. Years later I began to do henna on myself and moved on to do henna on boardwalks, birthdays and weddings. It wasn’t until college that I got a booth at a tattoo convention in PR where I performed the art of henna. It was then that I became enamored by the art of tattooing and its permanence.

Fast forward to 2008 I started going to shops around the island to try and get an apprenticeship. Opportunities arose but nothing sticked, it was then when I moved back stateside where I was given a shot at working in a shop. To my surprise I would be starting right off the bat. The owner tells me “That’s your client sitting in the chair”. So scary but I went to work and never looked back. I picked up tid bits here and there but never had a mentor and basically learned most of it on my own. A slow start to my career I’ve had many jobs. Mostly in customer service and hospitality but always went to back to tattooing whenever I could. Had it not been for all the experiences and trial by fire, I would not be the person I am today.

I currently reside and work in Philadelphia. Home to many amazing artists. My work has gone through many style and has evolved to what it is today. Mostly black work with the subject being botanical illustrations. Who knows what the future might hold but I am excited to grow and evolve. I look forward to working with you all. Thank you for your continual support throughout my journey.
